EuPIA appoints new management team.

During its annual meeting in Athens, Greece, the European Printing Ink Association (EuPIA) announced its new management team. Effective May 1, 2006, Felipe Mellado, corporate vice president, marketing and technology, Sun Chemical Europe, has been appointed as EuPIA's new chairman.

Mr. Mellado follows Peter Koivula, vice chairman, Flint Group, who had been head of EuPIA for the last two years. Herbert Forker, CEO of Siegwerk Group, is EuPIA's new vice chairman. Dr. Martin Kanert, deputy executive director of the German VdMi (Verband der Mineralfarbenindustrie), has been appointed to the newly created position of the association's executive manager.
