Ervine can hurt favourites; CRICKET.
ENGLAND'S next opponents Pakistan are warming up with a limited-overs tour of Zimbabwe and they are 4-11 to win today's first Twenty20 international in Harare (midday), writes James Milton.
Pakistan - captained by Shahid Afridi - have plenty of experience in their top order, with Mohammad Hafeez, Ahmed Shahzad, Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal in the squad.
Afridi and Hafeez are miserly 20-over spinners who could extract turn from a dry pitch while Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Irfan and Imran Khan are lively pace options for Pakistan.
Zimbabwe competed well in their recent one-day series against New Zealand, losing 2-1, and CRAIG ERVINE can continue his fine form.
Ervine is 11-2 to top-score for the home side today and those odds look generous given that he made 42 of Zimbabwe's 118 in the Twenty20 defeat to the Kiwis in August.
The left-hander, who should bat at number three today, made a brilliant 130 to win the first ODI against New Zealand.
