Epsom & The South: Barrow looks a decent wager; View from the training centres.

BARROW, who disliked the heavy ground when unplaced at Windsor last time, is napped to make a winning return over course and distance in the Laing And Cruickshank IM Handicap (8.05) tonight, writes Matthew Doyle.

John Dunlop's colt was noted making late headway from the rear to finish seventh behind Barrow on that occasion. The son of Caerleon can leave that form behind on a fast surface, with Pat Eddery sure to give him a positive ride here.

At Redcar, Give Notice can initiate a double for Dunlop in the Handicap (4.30).

The Warning colt was eased when beaten in a Leicester maiden in April, and can improve for the step up to 10 furlongs.

Amanda Perrett is sweet on Give The Slip in the Savill Court Hotel Median Auction Maiden Stakes (8.35). This well-regarded colt is on a retrieval mission after finishing third to Elghani on his return.

WINDSOR: 8.05 Barrow (nap), 8.35 Give The Slip.

REDCAR: 4.30 Give Notice.
