Epic journey; The Palladium.

Byline: Victor D. Infante

COLUMN: TEN THINGS TO DO

With song titles such as "Falling World," "Sleepless Swans" and "These Woods Breathe Evil," you can be pretty certain that Finnish doom rockers Swallow the Sun are setting out to take you on an epic journey. And they do. Each song is molasses-thick, laden with menacing portents and ominous vocal growls. It all sounds like the soundtrack to some truly frightening sword and sorcery movie. In a good way. Swallow The Sun performs with Kreator/Accept at 8 p.m. Sept. 8 at The Palladium, 261 Main St., Worcester. (800) 477-6849 or tickets.com. $25

in advance; $28 at the door.
