Envision Peripherals Inc. Increases LCD Monitor Market Share at Leading U.S. Retail Outlets.

Current Analysis West Data Shows 3Q Year-Over-Year Growth Despite Overall LCD Display Retail Sales Decline

FREMONT, Calif. -- Envision Peripherals Inc. (EPI), home to the AOC and Envision branded displays, today announced that its Envision LCD monitor line experienced significant year-over-year sales growth at U.S. retail outlets in 3Q 2007, despite an overall downturn in LCD sales. The company's third quarter retail sales surged 91% in unit volume and 65% in revenue at leading retail outlets polled by market research firm Current Analysis West.

The Current Analysis West 3Q data showed that Envision was one of only three brands that grew LCD monitor unit market share from 2006 to 2007 and that Envision was the only standalone monitor brand to boost both unit share and revenue share at retail. The Current Analysis reporting panel includes Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Office Depot, OfficeMax, RadioShack, and Staples.

According to the Current Analysis West LCD monitor market share data, the Envision brand achieved 7% unit sales share and 6% revenue share of the U.S. retail market. The only other manufacturers to experience year-to-year unit market share growth were HP and Acer, according to the Current Analysis data.

Envision's positive Q3 2007 unit sales growth rates were achieved against a backdrop of a year-to-year LCD display sales decline in the U.S. retail channel. According to Current Analysis West, U.S. LCD display retail sales experienced a year to year 3Q drop of 8% in unit sales and 11% in revenue. The Current Analysis West report noted that Envision's increased product placement at Best Buy was a leading contributor to the improved performance it experienced, with the chain's stores carrying up to four Envision monitors models in September 2007.
