Environmental Tectonics Corporation's EnTCo Adds Philippe Cousteau and EarthEcho International as Mission Partners for 'Wild Earth(TM): Deep Ocean Safari' Ride.

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Environmental Tectonics Corporation's ("ETC" or the "Company") wholly owned subsidiary Entertainment Technology Corporation (EnTCo) is pleased to announce a formal agreement has been reached with Philippe Cousteau and his non-profit organization, EarthEcho International. The arrangement calls for Philippe to be a narrator and guide for EnTCo's Wild Earth(TM): Deep Ocean Safari attraction. Philippe will work side by side with Michiko Martin, National Education Coordinator for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Marine Sanctuary Program. EarthEcho International will assist EnTCo with subject-matter expertise, mission- critical messaging and promotional assistance.

Philippe Cousteau is the 26-year-old son of Jan and Philippe Cousteau Sr., and the grandson of Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau. As a member of the legendary family, Philippe continues the work of his father and grandfather by educating the public about environmental and conservation issues and inspiring individuals to become better stewards of our water planet. He founded EarthEcho International with his sister and his mother to work toward these goals. Philippe was recently named Chief Ocean Correspondent for Discovery's Animal Planet Channel, where he is creating a series of ocean documentary programs.

Rob Lloyd, Creative Director of EnTCo, stated, "We are ecstatic about Philippe and EarthEcho's involvement in this project. We are pleased they see the value of developing interactive, family-friendly entertainment media that conveys vital marine conservation messages in an entertaining fashion. Along with NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary Program's involvement, we will deliver an attraction that surpasses anything of its kind in the industry."

Philippe Cousteau added, "I am excited to be involved in Wild Earth: Deep Ocean Safari as a relevant way to reach a whole new generation of learners. The use of cutting-edge technology, such as video gaming, to bring across a conservation message in a way that both inspires and entertains is critical to conservation education in the 21st century. EnTCo has created an exciting, interactive experience that engages people and is at the forefront of environmental education. Together with NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary Program and EnTCo, we are excited to create education that will make a positive difference."

In Wild Earth(TM), guests will discover the thrill and excitement of a Deep Ocean Safari and marvel at the array of marine life and habitats that can be found in the National Marine Sanctuaries. The immersive environment and the life-like dynamic animation offer a kaleidoscope of images, encounters and memories never to be forgotten. In EnTCo's simulator, up to six submariners (a pilot and 5 photographers) sit securely in a submersible-themed capsule to experience this fully interactive photo exploration. In Wild Earth(TM), the riders are always in full control, navigating their sub through the ocean waters on a quest for that "perfect picture." Their best pictures, as well as a picture of them as submariners in action, are woven into a souvenir that is provided to them at the end of their ride experience. The souvenir reinforces NOAA's and EarthEcho's core ocean conservation messages in the form of a memento the visitors take home with them.
