Entrepreneur Carolyn Aronson makes major donation to America's Beauty Show.

With Hispanic Heritage Month around the corner, there is no better time to recognize the successes of Hispanic women whose careers model kindness, creativity, and advocacy. Meet Carolyn Aronson, founder of one of the world’s only female-owned professional haircare brands, It’s a 10 Haircare, and creator of the now nationally-recognized holiday National Love Your Hair Day, approaching this October 10th. A superhuman mother, giving birth to her youngest daughter at the age of 54, there are no hurdles that Aronson has not already anticipated, and no bounds to her philanthropic efforts both inside and outside of the beauty industry.

A self-made entrepreneur, Aronson began her illustrious career sweeping hair off the salon floor. Over the course of 20 years, she rose from stylist to salon owner to CEO, a career advancement born out of the frustration that every stylist and hair product consumer has felt: needing dozens of single-benefit products with hard-to-follow claims to deliver salon-quality hair. She envisioned a haircare experience that eliminated clutter on the shelf without bleeding wallets dry; and thus, It’s a 10 Haircare came to be—the only haircare line that guarantees not one, not two, but ten benefits per product.

It’s a 10 Haircare has developed something of a cult following in the beauty industry, used by celebrities and consumers alike as the line is not exclusive to salons; it can be found at Ulta Beauty or local drugstores. Aronson is passionate when it comes to embracing diversity, creating a revolutionary, multi-functional collection for people of differing ethnic backgrounds. In the spirit of paying it forward, Aronson is a major supporter of America’s Beauty Show; so supportive, in fact, that she is donating 10,000 It’s a 10 Haircare goodie bags to give away to 10,000 attendees at the upcoming Show! The goodie bags feature one of Aronson’s favorite products, the Miracle Blow Dry H20 Shield—an anti-humidity spray that protects all styles from frizz-causing moisture. As a resident of Florida, Aronson knows the daily struggle of humidity, guaranteeing that this product “gives tremendous body shine and silkiness which helps any style to last longer.” The goodie bag also includes three other products, each designed to give consumers salon-quality results in only one bottle.

These goodie bags will go to the first 10,000 attendees of the annual America’s Beauty Show, which takes place September 11th-13th at the Donald E. Stephens Center in Rosemont, IL.
