Enterprising women celebrated at Liver Building gala dinner.

ACTRESS and business woman Suzanne Collins attended a Women In Enterprise gala dinner at the Royal Liver Building.

The stage and screen performer was joined at Wednesday night's dinner by Lord Mayor Hazel Williams and Professor Julia Hausermann MBE, president of national charity Rights and Humanity, and Chris Arnold, CEO of Smaller Earth.

The event was in aid of Rights and Humanity and in association with the prestigious enterprise competition, Your Big Year.

The 24 finalists spent Wednesday working to develop a product or service, before presenting their idea to a panel of influential businesswomen such as Clare Dove MBE, of Blackburne House.

The winners, who are competing for a "lifechanging prize", are being announced tonight. Chris Arnold, CEO of Liverpool based Smaller Earth said: "I am delighted to have these important business women involved in this project, as they have a wealth of experience."
