Enterasys delivers 10 Gigabit system.

Enterasys Networks Inc. have announced the Dragon(R) 10 Gigabit Intrusion Detection and Prevention System which leverages the company's experience and expertise with advanced security software and ASIC-based high speed packet processing technology. Claiming to be the first vendor to ship a 10 GigE IDS/IPS solution with total packet inspection, Enterasys can protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information without sacrificing performance on the fastest core network backbone links. The System integrates with the Dragon Security Command Console for security information management and NetSight(R) Automated Security Manager for intrusion response capabilities to proactively sense and automatically respond to security threats. When deployed in conjunction with the Enterasys Network Access Control (NAC) solution, unique IP-to-ID mapping capabilities immediately identify, isolate and remediate the source and location of malicious network traffic in real-time.
