Enjoy birthday celebrations.
ABERDEEN'S top nightclub Snafu celebrate their ninth birthday with a week of festivities kicking off tomorrow with Bigfoot'sTeaParty.
Saturday will see a special Dirty Heart's Club headlined by The Wave Pictures and other events throughout the week include Julio Bashmore and Majestik.
Speaking to Live and Loud after his DJ set last month, ex-Shamen frontman Mr C said: "Small independent clubs like Snafu are vitally important as it's clubs like this who have integrity about what they do, put on and stick their necks out to support cutting edge music and talent that keep the underground alive. If every town had a Snafu, the world would be a much better place.
"I do have a fondness for Aberdeen and always have a great time because of Snafu and the people that come to celebrate life when I play."

Also this week is the launch gig for this year's Oxjam Takeover festival. Oxjam is an annual, nationwide event throughout October which features a range of local, grassroots gigs, city-wide festivals and other music and artsrelated fundraising events. The Aberdeen launch will be headlined by an acoustic set from Fridge Magnet's frontman Steve Winton with support from Hellhouse and Peterhead's , Velvet Audio.
Oxjam Aberdeen's marketing manager KatieWatters told Live and Loud: "The showcase is going to be a fantastic opportunity for the team to let Aberdeen see a taster of what the takeover will be.
"With the brilliant musicians, art students, budding photographers and lots of enthusiastic volunteers, we are sure to get the word out and make Aberdeen aware of what we are doing and why. This year , we hope to raise PS2000.
"With the support of local businesses and residents, we can make this event the best yet."
The line-up for this year's festival is still in the works, but keep October 20 free in your diaries, as the good, bad and the ugly of Aberdeen's music scene come together to do some good.
In other news, a mix prepared by Aberdeen DJ HomeAlone will be aired on the UK-wide station KISS FM this Sunday at midnight.
