English company adds Nexgen baler.

Lancashire, England-based 3r Environmental Technology Ltd., the exclusive UK agent for the Marathon Equipment Co. line of balers and compactors, has sold a NexGen Galaxy2R two-ram baler to Pearson's Recycling of Norfolk County in eastern England.

3r Sales Director Steve Almond says, "This is a very significant step forward for 3r Environmental Technology. We are delighted to work with Pearson's Recycling and to introduce the first Galaxy2R into the UK."

He adds, "This agreement is also an excellent opportunity to build on our relationship with Marathon and introduce more of their world leading products to the UK market."

According to Vernon, Ala.-based Marathon, the NexGen Galaxy2R two-ram baler has many features and benefits, including a multi-purpose door that serves as a bale separator, a bale release to eject an oversize bale, a bale clamp to form a square end on the next bale and a bale sizer to produce a variety of bale dimensions.

Pearson's Recycling, a market-leading independent waste management and recycling company in the UK, will use the baler to processes cardboard, paper, aluminum cans and plastic bottles.
