An MP has suggested England needs its own national anthem for sports fans to sing as they cheer on their sporting heroes.

Liberal Democrat Greg Mulholland said it was "frustrating" to see supporters singing God Save The Queen, which he said was the anthem for the UK, ahead of the England football team's World Cup victory over Slovenia.
