Arlon 3000 XT engineering thermoplastic was developed in partnership with Evonik Industries to deliver enhanced performance in extreme high-temperature environments, such as fire seals. The technology is based on Evonik's Vestakeep PEEK polymer platform, which is said to be particularly suitable for applications that must meet extremely high mechanical, thermal and chemical requirements. As a result of the collaborative partnership between the companies, a new industry standard for thermoplastics performance is said to have been set. Material issues that can result from demanding, high-temperature aerospace applications can be minimized through the use of Arlon 3000 XT, which features enhanced performance and superior mechanical property retention at 350[degrees]F (177[degrees]C) to 600[degrees]F (316[degrees]C).
