BUNER -- The Malakand region operation commander Brigadier Bilal Ahmed Janjua has said the enemys nefarious designs of destroying Pakistan plan was successfully defused when the Pak army, government and nation stood together against terrorists and launched operations with different names in parts of the country to eliminate them.
The enemies were bent upon to destroy our country like Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan but the joint venture defeated them and now the situation is fully under control, he claimed. The Pak army in close collaboration with district police, district administration and district elders have carried out many successful operations so far and the terrorists were either killed, arrested or forced to runaway but are chasing and to be eliminated soon, he stated. Bilal maintained the international conspiracies were behind promotion of terrorism and the custodians of mother land have won the battle so as the most advance countries even America, Britain and Europe is astonished over dealing militancy effectively. The country was pushed to war like situation but peace restored and to be maintained for brighter future of new generation. The country has rich natural and human resources and capable of being emerging third most developed country in the world in next twenty five years term.
The media role is vital and it should be used for education, awareness, progress and prosperity of the country and nation with spirit of patriotism by soul of this motherland.
This he expressed while talking to key officers of district administration and media persons at circuit house Daggar soon after he along with deputy commissioner Khaista Rehman planted a sapling to formally inaugurate spring season tree plantation drive. On the occasion divisional forest officer Mushtaq Ahmed, AC Daggar Yassar Khan, AC Gagra Jamshed Khan, Colonel Saif, Major Suhaib and DHO Dr.Sher Mohammad Khan were present. The Brigadier noted forest department was lenient in rehabilitation, preservation and protection of forest adding most of the thick forests of popular hills including Elum Ghar were destroyed when militants took shelter there. But the concerned department does not take steps for its rehabilitation rather cutting of forest illegally and under permit still in progress, he regretted.
He branded it negative sign for the country and nation and hoped the concerned department will take drastic steps for improvement. He suggested if activities are coordinated like forest, water sheed,wild life, live stock, education and health set together to decided modalities and play due role for a forestation in this scenic region. He repeated the trend of mere figures should be changed with taking practical steps to improve situation. The deputy commissioner on the occasion directed subordinate staff for materialization of the recommendations in litter and sprit so as to materialize the sweet dream of green Pakistan.
