IRVINE. Calif. & CAMBRIDGE, UK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 19, 2003

Following Successful Trialware Delivery Program for AutoCAD2004,

Discreet Contracts Endeavors to Stream 3ds Max Software to

Prospects and Customers

Endeavors Technology, a leader in on-demand application streaming and desktop application management, today announces that Discreet, a division of Autodesk, Inc., has selected Endeavors' AppExpress as a new method of sales leads generation by streaming Discreet's award-winning 3ds max(R) modeling and animation software to prospective animators and designers using Endeavors' secure, advanced streaming technology.

Autodesk has been using AppExpress to stream AutoCAD2004 in a highly cost-effective trialware program for over a year. With the addition of 3ds max, AppExpress seems on track to become a peerless, repeatable business solution for ISVs looking for a secure, trackable method of putting full product software in the hands of prospects in the shortest timeframe. AppExpress eliminates the costly practice of burning and shipping evaluation CD-ROMs to prospective customers, stops software piracy, and has proven a vehicle that accelerates buying cycles.

Case studies on Endeavors' and Autodesk's successful trialware union have been published by Microsoft and Intel, and AppExpress is a nominee for an SC Magazine Global Award for Best Encryption Solution.

3ds max is Discreet's award-winning professional 3D modeling, animation and rendering software product used by the largest base of professional 3D animators in film, television, games development and design visualization. The ability to stream 3ds max to an entire new set of prospects provides Discreet and Autodesk an extended advantage to give potential users the ability to experience the product across the web.

"Using AppExpress as a means of delivering full-product software for trial usage has given Autodesk ROI numbers unseen before in previous marketing programs," said Bob Ng, Director of Business Planning and Analysis at Autodesk. "It's only logical that we extend our relationship with Endeavors by leveraging the use of AppExpress across other Autodesk products with all the assurance and confidence of security, reliability and cost-effectiveness."

"AppExpress lowers the total cost of ownership (TCO) of enterprise software. It offers businesses a world-class proven solution that changes, in an affordable manner, the dynamics of desktop application delivery, installation, usage and management," said Keith Bigsby, CEO of Endeavors. "Our strengthened relationship with Autodesk proves that."

Earlier this month, Endeavors announced AppExpress had been certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter Editions. This milestone resulted in Endeavors Technology obtaining Gold Certified Partner status with Microsoft. Both designations are among the first for on-demand application delivery companies.
