Emulex gets certification of its 2GB/S HBAS for use in HP-UX environments.
Emulex Corp. (NYSE:ELX), the world's leading supplier of storage networking host bus adapters (HBAs), has announced that its LightPulse 2Gb/s LP9002L Single Channel and its LP9002DC Dual Channel Fibre Channel HBAs are certified by HP for use in HP-UX 11i operating system environments.Emulex has worked closely with HP to complete the "Certified for HP-UX"(1) program which ensures the highest levels of interoperability for Emulex HBAs into HP-UX 11i operating environments.

HP has qualified the Emulex 2Gb/s LP9002L for the following HP servers running in HP-UX 11i operating environments: HP Superdome; HP Server rp8400; rp7410; rp7400; rp5400; and rp2400 series. The 2Gb/s LP9002DC Dual Channel HBA has been qualified for use with HP Superdome and HP Server rp8400 and rp7410 series.
