Emirati driver detained for driving dangerously in Europe.

Abu Dhabi Police have detained the owner of a Mercedes that was filmed driving dangerously in Europe.
A clip of the car, which has a UAE numberplate, being driven recklessly was recently posted on social media. The Emirati owner is suspected of having been behind the wheel.
A still from the video posted on Instagram by the Ministry of the Interior shows smoke billowing from the tyres of the car as it performs stunts in a built-up area.
The man is the second Emirati to have been arrested in the past week over serious motoring offences that occurred in Europe.
Brig Hussein Al Harithi, director general of central operations at Abu Dhabi Police, said traffic investigators spotted the clip, identified the driver and interviewed him.
"The driver has been detained and will be referred to the concerned authorities," he said.
Last week, a 24-year-old Emirati was arrested as he returned from holiday in Europe. Clips of him drifting on a public road in his Toyota Land Cruiser pick-up while on holiday had also been shared on social media.
The authorities warned they will prosecute people who drive dangerously outside the UAE as it is bad for the country's reputation.
