Emirates considers swapping A340-600s for A380s.
Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, has said that it is considering converting an order for Airbus A340-600s into an order for A380s.
Emirates is the launch customer for the A340-600 High Gross Weight (HGW), but the airline has given an indication that it may defer planned deliveries pending a possible upgrade.
This is the first time that Emirates has said that it may replace the A340-600 order, Reuters reported.
