Emergency services carol concert held at cathedral.

LLANDAFF Cathedral is opening its doors to all for a very special Christmas carol concert tomorrow.

This year, the Emergency Services Christmas Carol Service will take place at the cathedral with a line-up which includes guest speakers such as South Wales Police Chief Constable Peter Vaughan and music from a number of professional choristers.

Archbishop of Wales Dr Barry Morgan will also attend to officiate the service. South Wales Police Principal Chaplin Glynne James said: "This is the very first time our carol service has been held at Llandaff and we would very much enjoy it if as many people as possible were able to join us.

"There will be a wonderful array of Christmas carols and readings from special guests as we look forward to the Christmas festivities."

All donations received during the concert will help fund any necessary restorative work to the cathedral.

Free parking has been arranged for all those who wish to attend at the university car park and at the car park at Cathedral School.

A shuttle bus will also be available at both locations.

Doors will open at 6.30pm and the service starts at 7.30pm.
