International Conference on Embedded and Ubiquitous Computing (2008: Shanghai, China)

Computer Society Press

1263 pages

The proceedings of the EUC 2008 International Conference are covered in this large two-volume set, giving both attendees and practitioners in the field a comprehensive survey of the latest advances in embedded and ubiquitous computing. Xu (cluster and Internet computing, Wayne State U.) and Guo (computer science, Shanghai Jiao Tong U., China) have edited these 70 research papers and the contents of eight workshops on behalf of the IEEE Computer Society. The first volume, covering the main conference, includes such topics as hardware and software co- designs, real-time and cyber-physical systems, embedded software optimization and Power-aware computing. The second volume is devoted to the actual workshops, which address secure schemes and metrics, trust management and privacy protection, encryption and decryption, key management, access control and anonymity and security in wireless networks.
