Elise has a 2018 dream; UPDATE.

ELISE CHRISTIE is targeting a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang after her Sochi struggles.

Three times Christie was ruled to have performed illegal manoeuvres as she suffered heartbreak on the Russian ice.

The 23-year-old Scot bounced back by claiming 500 metres silver at the world short-track speed skating championships in Montreal earlier this month.

She wrote on her Sportlobster blog: "You are supposed to reach your peak in speed skating after 10 years so I'll peak for the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea and will hopefully win the gold medal."
