Finland's Elisabeth Rehn has rejected claims that she is one of those being considered for the position as head of the United Nations administration in Kosovo.

The Finnish newspaper Kainuun Sanomat has reported that Rehn is one of the candidates along with the Swedish UN ambassador in Geneva, Pierre Schori.

Rehn is currently working for the Finnish foreign ministry, reported the Finnish online newsletter Internytt.
