Elimination of terrorism, energy crisis top priority: Saira.

HAFIZABAD -- State Minister for National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, Saira Afzal Tarar has said that elimination of terrorism, energy crisis and provision of amenities of life to the masses is priority of the present government of Pakistan Muslim League-N. While talking to mediamen at Hafizabad today, she said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would change fate of the nation and it is not an only a road, mostly projects of generating electricity are included in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

She said that opposition was creating hurdles in completing development projects being lunched to ensure provision of different facilities to the masses and advised to opposition to celebrate in a befitting manner instead of giving dharna. Earlier, while addressing a meeting of officers of Gujranwala Electricity Supply Company held at Circuit House Hafizabad today, she directed them to address people's complaints including less voltages in different areas and unscheduled loadshedding immediately with the consultation of newly elected local bodies representatives and to take measures to changing of sanctioned transforms, replacement of old polls and wires to ensure provision of interrupted electricity supply to the people of the district Hafizabad. Executive Engineer GEPCO Hafizabad, Ramzan Aalam, Executive Engineer GEPCO, Jalalpur Bhattian, Chairman, Education Advisory Committee Hafizabad, Muhammad Bux Tarar, newly elected representatives of local bodies and other officers attended the meeting.

Saira Afzal Tarar said that electricity pilferers were not well-wishers of Pakistan at all and directed the GEPCO officers to launch crackdown on electricity pilferers and she or any other elected representatives would not favor to any electricity pilferer at all.
