Electronic power supply.

GEW

North Royalton, OH, USA

GEW, a UV curing systems manufacturer, has introduced the Rhino electronic power supply to drive its range of energy-efficient UV lampheads.

The company designed the power electronics with energy savings in mind. It is 95% efficient with a power factor of 1. Harmonic demand has been minimized since transmission and cable losses are all but eliminated.

GEW says its aerospace grade electronic design makes Rhino immune from dips, sags, spikes and noise that can interfere with electronic equipment when power supplies are under strain.

The Rhino Rack protects the power supplies in a space-saving enclosure to help survive the printing environment during the press' lifetime.

Rhino comes with a 5-year warranty to remove unexpected maintenance costs from a capital repayment schedule.
