Elections 2000.
The process of nominating candidates for positions on the 2000 ACTE Board of Directors has begun. Nominations from the membership will be accepted for ACTE president-elect, six vice presidents (whose terms begin in July 2000) and two vice president-elects (whose terms begin when their respective predecessor's term ends). Nominations will be accepted until the Orlando convention in December.Candidates for these offices should be recognized leaders in the association who have an understanding of all phases of career and technical education and who are able to devote sufficient time to association activities.
Nominating committees will select at least two candidates for each position after interviewing nominees during the Orlando convention. The final candidates for each office will be announced at the convention during the Assembly of Delegates, Dec. 14, 1999.
