Election Day 2012 Freebies: Free Stuff, Deals And Discounts You Can Score For Voting.

Now that you've braved the long lines and cast your ballot for Election Day, it's time to indulge some nice freebies in honor of the 2012 presidential election.

On Tuesday, many retailer, restaurants and companies are offering deals, bargains and free goods for the big day. Some are offered only on Nov. 6 while others extend longer.

Boston Market

Boston Market is holding ( an election of its own where customs can cast votes for their favorite Market Bowl between chicken or turkey. On Nov. 7 the winner will be announced and Boston Market will offer free Market Bowls with the purchase of a bowl and a drink.

California Tortilla

California Tortilla is ( giving free tacos to anyone wearing an "I Voted" sticker on Election Day.


JetBlue is offering an ( Election Promotion campaign for voters whose candidate loses. The airline is offering 1,006 travel certificates to redeem on a round-trip base fare to any of JetBlue's Caribbean or Mexico destinations from a drawing pool.


Macy's is having an ( Election Day sale with 15 to 20 percent off items. Using coupon code "ELECT" will score 20 percent off online purchases.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden will give a ( free Dolcini with purchase of an entree to those wearing the "I Voted" sticker.

On The Border

On The Border is giving free sopapillas if you have a coupon from its Facebook page.


Pinkberry is holding a ( social media voting contest through the hashtag #pinkthevote for customers to post photos and vote for their favorite flavors. Ten winners will receive a free small yogurt with toppings.

Shake Shack

Shake Shack is holding "( Shack The Vote " where customers fill out a pledge to vote card in order to receive a coupon for a free cup or cone of custard.


Starbucks is ( giving away wristbands on Election Day that say "INDIVISIBLE."

Tim Horton's

Tim Horton's is giving away a ( free donut with the purchase of a beverage on Election Day.


Car service Uber will give customers nationwide ( a free ride (up to $20.12) to a national poling place. The offer is valid on Election Day during officials hours only. Any amount exceeding $20.12 will be charged.

White Castle

White Castle is ( giving a free small Sweet Potato Waffle Fry with purchase to anyone who shows up wearing their "I Voted" sticker.


Zipcar is offering 50 percent off rates nationwide with its ( Zip to the Polls program which runs on Election Day only, from 5 a.m. and 9 p.m.
