Either you are with Kibaki or ...

As a Kenyan, I feel so disturbed when I see some ministers appointed by President Mwai Kibaki going off the cuff and criticising/undermining the same government that gave them their jobs.

The time has come for these ministers, most of whom are on the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) wing of the ruling National Rainbow Coalition, to have confidence in the president or decamp to the opposition. They are trying to hijack the constitutional reforms for their own political ambitions, and also using their tribal influence to persuade their people into believing that the government is not performing.

The president has already reshuffled his cabinet. The message is therefore clear, either you are with Kibaki or you are on your way out of his cabinet.
