Eight killed after fire erupts in passenger van in Jhelum.

ISLAMABAD -- As many as eight people were burnt to death after fire erupted in a passenger van on GT Road in Jhelum in wee hours of Monday.

According to details, rescue police said the van was heading towards Rawalpindi from Gujranwala.

Four passengers who received burn injuries were shifted to a nearby hospital.

The cause of fire is not known yet and will be ascertained after an investigation, the official said.
