Eight Pakistan shooters to take part in World Shooting C'ship.

ISLAMABAD, July 22 -- Eight shooters from Pakistan will feature in the 50th ISSF World Shooting Championship to be held at Munich, Germany from July 29, secretary general National Rifle Association of Pakistan Javaid S Lohdi said on Wednesday. "We have some really top class shooters with impeccable accuracy and are expecting a fine display from them in the event," he said.

Javaid said that in the championship three Pakistan shooters - Khurram Inam, Ahmad Sultan and Amin Karamat - would participate in the Skeet event, while in the Trap event two shooters Usman Sadiq and Shahzad Noor would represent the country. Kaleemullah Khan Niazi would be the only shooter to represent the country in the Pistol Shooting event. In junior Skeet category, Hamza Amin and Bilal Khan would take part.

"The marksmanship of our shooters is quite adept and I hope they will do well in the competition," Lohdi added. He said the country had tremendous talent in shooting and our shooters could land at top of the world provided they are given necessary facilities for that.
