Egypt: Mansoura Poultry in Negotiations for Production Plants.
October 12 2010 - Egyptian poultry producer Mansoura Poultry has announced that it is negotiating with Nile Cotton Ginning Company to buy two poultry production plants in Nubaria, Egypt.Earlier this year Feedinfo News Service reported that Mansoura Poultry announced that its net profit for the period from January 1 2010 to June 30 2010 amounted to LE 9.12 million (about USD 1.6 million), compared to its net profit of LE 7.9 million for the same period last year.
Besides poultry production, Mansoura Poultry operates a cattle farm and manufactures poultry feed. The company's wholly owned subsidiary, Mansourah Foods Company, is engaged in the production and trade of agricultural and food products.
