Egypt''s military evacuates "Tahrir" plaza.

Egyptian army managed Wednesday evening to

evacuate hundreds of protesters from Tahrir Square in the aftermath of

skirmishes and brickbats between pro and against protest groups.

The protesters, who staged a sit-in at the Square for several days,

attempted to persuade the military to let them stay on.

The military succeeded to convince the protesters as well vendors who

caused traffic snarl-up there, of leaving site calmly.

The Cairo's downtown plaza saw a lot of events and influential incidents

that coincided with "January 25th Revolution" like the protests staged by

millions during Fridays in support of the mass movement that toppled Egypt's

past regime.
