Effective Report Writing for the Security Officer.

Effective Report Writing for the Security Officer

The purpose of this book is to help security personnel communicate better through more effective report writing.

The majority of the book deals with detailed grammatical information, including English usage, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, and vocabulary.

The book's subject matter is clearly presented, is extremely basic, and covers topics well. The purpose of this book is worthwhile and well achieved.

The text is heavily laced with practice exercises, and it is well organized. The sections on "Word Substitution Key," "Commonly Confused Words," and "Vocabulary" are most helpful, and the section on "Report Writing - Notetaking" is thorough and provides sample report worksheets.

The audience for this book could be relatively broad, ranging from students in the security field to security practitioners.

This book is a good, solid reference, and I recommend it to my colleagues.
