FEI's Columbus Chapter (Ohio) met in the spring for its annual "Education Night." Students and faculty from 13 schools were invited to the event, which included a tour of the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University, a panel discussion on skills, tips on employment searches and career planning and a speech by Ohio-State head football coach Jim Tressel (pictured at left) Senior and Junior awards were given out, and two scholarships ($1,000 each plus $1,000 matches from each of the schools) were awarded to two outstanding students. The winners were Jeannie Gedra of OSU's Finance Department (Far right) and Cynthia Coss of Ohio University's Finance Department (second from left). Both are leaders in their schools and had a genuine financial need for the scholarships to continue pursuing career as financial executives.
