Education expo glimmers the role of literacy in Pakistan.
International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) held education expo to highlight the significance of knowledge and education in the development of society. The three-day event is titled as 'Qazi Hussain Ahmad Memorial Education Expo'. The event included book fairs in which a large collection of books from diversified fields of SandT, education, literature were exhibited. A seminar on 'Our Education System and Pakistan's future: Analysis and way forward' was also included in the three daylong events in which academicians, policy makers, students directly participated to give their input to improve the education system in the country.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal was the chief guest on the occasion. He said while addressing on the inaugural ceremony of the event, "Education is the primary need to be focused in order to propel Pakistan at par to the developed nations. The knowledge is multiplied when it is shared and such healthy activities trigger a sense of inspiration amongst the asset of our nation that is youth. IIUI role in imparting quality education is imperative and more and more youth should be engaged in these events to get maximum result".
