Edna Walling. An extraordinary Life.

EDNA WALLING. An extraordinary Life by Sara Hardy Sydney, Allen & Unwin, 2005

As Trisha Dixon writes 'This celebration of Edna Walling's life is long overdue. Hardy has a refreshingly original approach to Biography, giving us a fitting tribute to a woman who was way ahead of her time.' Edna Walling was not a nineteenth century person, she was very much 20th century. She was in many respects our most important garden designer and the gardens she designed are now treasured as part of our garden heritage. The book has some of Edna's drawings of designs and many photographs. Garden lovers will want a copy of this biography.

Some years ago the Mulini Press had the privilege of publishing the first edition one of her books entitled On the Trail of Australian Wildflowers.
