The last month has been an unusual one. We again lost one of Paralyzed Veterans of America's (PVA) fine men. You can find my comments about David Fowler in Reasons & Remarks Redivivus on p. 10. David came to my attention when he asked me a question, which fueled PVA Publications' move to the Internet. He wanted to know why someone who was a quadriplegic and used a mouth stick or other device couldn't see PN online. I didn't have an answer then, but I do now. The staff has started the process of creating a digital version of PN and SPORTS 'NJ SPOKES. Soon, digital publications of PN and S'NS will be available. Look for updates in the coming months. So, David, despite our loss, you have again left behind something for your peers.
The last item on the agenda at the 68th Annual PVA Convention in Orlando, Fla. was the election of new officers. Make sure you read PVA Points (p. 24) to find whom our new officers are for the forthcoming year starting July 1, 2014. This will complete the transition of our move to the new fiscal year.
