The Edgewater 280 CX (crossover) is a 28-foot dual console offshore boat, featuring a spacious deck plan for fishing and a loaded cabin with galley, head and sleeping berth. EdgeWater built the 280 Crossover with a variable deadrise deep-vee hull, a wide bow with reversed hull chines, and the SPI grid system. The Single Piece Infusion (SPI) process vacuum-infuses vinyl ester resin into the grid structure and hull laminate in one step. Standard fishing features include a fiberglass hardtop, 28-gallon livewell, prep station with sink and drawers, three insulated fish boxes and loaded helm area. Max horsepower is 600; beam is 9 feet, 6 inches; cockpit area is 65 square feet; fuel capacity is 200 gallons; freshwater capacity is 34 gallons; and hull deadrise 1s21 degrees.
