Ebbs--inspiring camp director.

Adele Statten Ebbs, the daughter of the late Taylor Statten, past president of the American Camping Association (ACA), passed away in June. She was an ACA member and frequent attendee at national conferences. Ebbs was a graduate of Brown P.S., B.S.S., University College of U of T, OCE; inductee of the U of T Sports Hall of Fame; and a teacher at Oakwood Collegiate, after which she assumed full-time directorship of Camp Wapomeo until retirement in 1975. She is remembered in the camp community for her strong leadership, integrity, and wisdom.
