Eaves dropping in for a gig; EAVES, GEORGIAN THEATRE, STOCKTON.

MUMFORD and Sons support Eaves, above, is making Teesside his next stop.

The Leeds based singer songwriter is heading for a gig at the Georgian Theatre, Stockton on Tuesday.

Aka Joseph Lyons, the singer has recently completing a string of European support slots with Mumford and Sons.

Raised in a musical household in Yorkshire, he has spent several years perfecting his skill.

He began playing piano at a very young age and after switching to the guitar, Eaves started writing his own songs.

Whilst he attended Leeds College of Music he began posting his songs online which eventually caught the ear of respected London-based independent label Heavenly who signed the young artist in 2014. He heads to Teesside in support of his latest album entitled What Green Feels Like recorded at London's Voltaire Studios with producer Cam Blackwood. The Mumford and Sons gigs came after Marcus Mumford head the performer on Huw Stephens live sessions on BBC R1.

Support on Tuesday comes from Teessider and former member of The Panoramic Joe Ramsey.
