Easy cook; Spicy Chinese prawns.

SERVES 4 :

PREP TIME 10 minutes

: COOKING 5 minutes

: COST pounds 2.96 per person

: Ingredients

1/2tsp Szechuan or black pepper

1/2tsp sea salt

1tsp chilli powder

1tsp Chinese five-spice powder

2tbsp sesame oil

16 raw tiger prawns with shells but de-headed

TO SERVE

Soy sauce Sweet chilli sauce

: Method

(1) MIX together all the spices in a small bowl and set aside.

(2) HEAT the oil in a wok or frying pan until hot.

(3) THROW in the prawns and stir-fry until crispy and pink.

(4) POUR off the excess oil, then add the spice mix and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Serve immediately with soy sauce or sweet chilli sauce for dipping.
