Easy Raman designed for robust apps.

The TacticID is an advanced, field-ready handheld Raman spectrometer designed for non-contact rapid identification of unknown chemicals, explosives and narcotics, directly in the field and/or in the lab. It was developed to provide first responders, such as law enforcement personnel and hazmat technicians, with a single tool that will help them stay one step ahead of current and emerging threats in narcotics, hazmat and explosives applications. The Raman spectrometer provides robust identification and investigation algorithms, while still maintaining ease of use by non-technical first responders. It allows users to get real-time, actionable identification of potential threats while reducing operational uncertainty and response time, without compromising the integrity of the sample or chain of evidence. The unit's comprehensive library comprises more than 5,000 hazardous chemicals, explosives, narcotics, prescription drugs, precursors and cutting agents. Additionally, it provides users with the capability to develop their own custom libraries. B&W Tek, Inc., 302-368-7824
