Easter egg motorbike ride.

MORE than 300 Easter eggs and pounds 800 cash were raised in a sponsored motor cycle around Anglesey recently.

Organised by the Anglesey Motorcycle Club and the Rhyl-based Whistlestop club dozens of riders travelled anti-clockwise around Anglesey from Menai Bridge to Trac Mn at Rhosneigr.

Pete Haybittle of the Whistlestop Club said it was the third time the clubs have organised the event.

"We split the number of eggs we collected and the cash raised. The Anglesey Club donated the eggs and cash to the children's ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd while we gave the eggs to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and the cash will go to St Kentigern's Hospice."
