Easiweigh announces new De-Stacking System.

A new crate de-stacking system for use with returnable plastic crates (RPCs) was introduced by Easiweigh, part of the GSH Group, at the PPMA exhibition. The fully automatic operation takes pre-stacked crates and delivers them to the packaging line, at the touch of a button. RPCs are returned to packaging companies on a palletiser in the same way that they arrive at the supermarket, only on return they are empty. The new Easiweigh container de-stacking system sits at the front end of the production line and unstacks the RPCs from the palletiser, in preparation for the lining stage.

The system, which is designed for 60 x 40 RPCs, automates the process further and reduces the need for manual operation. The system can either de-stack one by one, or on a timer to fit in with the remaining equipment. It can be used as a stand alone machine, or integrated with GSH's modular lining, filling and palletising systems, or other types of packaging production lines.
