Earnings hike.

Dickenson Mines Ltd. reported an increase in earnings for the third quarter of last year to $2 million or 12 cents per share as the result of strong operating performance, reduced expenses, a reduced effective tax rate and the benefits of the company's gold hedging program. Gold production at the company's Red Lake Mine was 56,571 ounces for the first nine months of 1991. The mine continued to reduce its production costs to $357 U.S. per ounce from $414 per ounce one year prior.
