Early warning system for storage applications.

Helveta has launched an early warning system designed to detect and prevent storage problems in products such as potatoes, onions and bulbs.

The CIS system diagnoses storage variables from control systems in real time to predict adverse changes in key factors such as product humidity and temperature. CIS gives advance notification of critical changes in crop status, allowing store managers to make an intervention before critical loss or damage occurs.

CIS has been developed with Omnivent, a leading manufacturer and installer of advanced ventilation and climate regulation systems for various agricultural systems.

The system has been branded the Storage Syndrome Recognition System.
