Eamonn Holmes' column: SERVICE COMES FIRST.
ALL this crud about what should be included on the cap badge of the new Northern Ireland Police Service exemplifies the sort of thing that is wrong in the North.
If the aim is a new force for a new beginning why burden the whole image down with emblems of the past?
A neutral modern logo is what the Police Board should have come up with.
They would have come up with Captain Scarlett badges and uniforms for all I care as long as it's a Police Service that provides the service it should and recruits the personnel it should to do that job.
Welcome to the club.
