EXTRAORDINARY INTEREST SHOWN IN REVOLUTIONARY INTERNAL ROTARY COMBUSTION ENGINE; CONTRACTS PENDING FOR RAND CAM/DIRECT CHARGE ENGINE

 MORGANTOWN, W.Va., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Reg Technologies Inc. (Vancouver: RRE; OTC Bulletin Board: REGRF) wishes to announce that the Centre for Industrial Research Applications (CIRA) at West Virginia University said that from the standpoint of new engine technology, the progress and interest shown in the novel Rand Cam/Direct Charge Engine is "extraordinary."
 Already, several federal agencies in the U.S.A. have inquired about the possibility of using this engine for numerous military applications. The internationally recognized mechanical engineering team is currently preparing two formal proposals for applications relating to the U.S. Army's infantry power-packs and portable generator systems.
 Both of these technologies will have immediate commercial cross-over applications. Several companies have shown interest in applications from light-weight design for grass-trimmers and portable generator sites to engine sizes which could be used in marine and aviation models.
 The heightened interest in the Rand Cam/Direct Charge Engine is due to the response received on the two technical papers CIRA presented at the SAE International Congress and Exposition that shows there is significant interest in rotary-based technology. The presentation exposed over 100 technical companies' representation from all over the world to this unique rotary engine.
 The next phase, recommended by CIRA, will be the development of the engine for commercial entities which may have niche market applications for this device.
 In addition, Reg Technologies is pleased to announce that the physical prototype of the computer model will be completed within the next two weeks. The vanes, rotor, carburetor and ignition systems have been obtained, or fabricated, and the remaining components should be ready within one week. This final step will help the layman and the engineer alike to bridge the gap from theoretical to a physical working model.
