EUR147,000 to solve riddle of lost man.

Byline: By VICTORIA MCMAHON

THE mother of a man who has been missing for six months has offered a EUR147,000 reward to anyone who can help find him.

Gerard Conway, has been missing from his home in Cookstown, Co Tyrone, since January. The last known movements of the 32-year-old, who suffers from manic depression, was a bank withdrawal he made at the end of January.

His family became increasingly concerned about his whereabouts when they discovered he had disappeared without his medication. Distraught mum Mary, who last seen her son in Dublin just before Christmas, fears he is dead.

She said: "Each day that goes by it is just getting worse, because if Gerard committed suicide there would have been a body.

"So I think something sinister has happened to Gerard and somebody knows something.

"I need him back even if he is dead. He needs to be buried if he's dead and I think that's what's happened to him.

"He loved his family. He wouldn't have let us go through this."

Brother and best pal Patrick added: "Gerard was one in a million - they broke the mould."

Gerard is 6ft, of medium build, with blue eyes and brown short hair and scars over his right eye and on his scalp.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police at Cookstown station on 048 90 650 222.
