Transport Minister Amar Tou said Friday in Algiers that the European Union (EU) was ready to open dialogue with Algeria about its decision on greenhouse gas restrictions in air transport by 2012. "By the time the guideline is implemented, in 2012, the European side said it was completely ready to discuss with Algeria and other concerned countries as well as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in order to find a global treatment for the issue," Tou said at the end of discussions with the European Commissioner for Transport, Antonio Tajani, on a working visit to Algeria.AaAaAa
