EU imposes ban on youth under 16 to use WhatsApp.

Islamabad -- European Union has imposed a ban on youth who are under 16 to use Whats App.

According to media reports in European Union the Data Protection Law will also applicable on WhatsApp under which below 16 years youth can not use WhatsApp sans the permission of their parents and previously the age limit was 13 years.

It is recalled WhatsApp service has purchased Facebook and it will introduce a new SOP. However the ban will not be applicable outside the European Union. The new SOP will not be tough and the company does not intend to ask various question in future nor identification documents and birth certificates.
